For over 43 years, Dave’s Diesel Repair has been repairing, rebuilding, overhauling and maintaining diesel engines for clients primarily across Alberta, but extending to as far as Alaska and the Northwest Territories. What started out as a humble one-man business on the north side of Edmonton has evolved into the “big little shop” – big enough to take on any job in-house, but small enough to maintain a personal connection with our clients.
No matter how long it takes - we want to do the job right!
We’ve got THREE shows coming up this month, and we’re looking forward to getting out of the shop, meeting some of our customers, and talking all things diesel, trucks, engines and performance.

📍 Lloydminster Heavy Oil Show — September 16th–17th
We’ll be at the Heavy Oil Show connecting with people in the industry and showcasing what DDR has to offer. It’s a great opportunity to meet other businesses, check out some of the latest technology and make some new connections.
📍 Lesco Truck Show — September 18th–19th
We’ll wrap up the month with the Lesco Truck Show! If you’re a truck person, you definitely won’t want to miss this one. Come check out some awesome trucks, find the DDR crew and have a chat with us.

🚜 VEGREVILLE TRUCK & TRACTOR PULL — AUGUST 7th - 8th!
We’re heading to Vegreville this weekend for two days of horsepower, noise, and dirt.
You’ll be able to catch both of Dave’s trucks, Eye Candy (Cabover) and Old School (359) at the pull, so make sure you come check them out and see them in person.
Whether you’re coming for the trucks, the competition, or just to enjoy a great weekend at the fair, there’s going to be plenty to see. Come hang out, check out the trucks, grab some photos, and come say hi if you see us!

New Engine for our customer who got a hole in the side of the block, & a little demonstration on why we always test the charge air cooler.
A charge air cooler in a semi-truck cools hot, compressed air coming from the turbocharger before that air enters the engine. A Dura-Lite charge air cooler is an upgraded, heavy-duty replacement part built to stop leaks, save fuel, and last much longer than standard factory parts
